Position summary

This role is focused on supporting members in the Optical department by delivering service, helping with product selection, and handling day-to-day store operations. The position is based in Albany, Georgia and is a full-time onsite opportunity.

Key duties

• Greet members, understand what they need, and guide them toward suitable purchases while addressing questions or concerns.
• Keep merchandise well presented by stocking products, building and cleaning displays, removing damaged items, and ensuring items are labeled and priced correctly.
• Maintain the Optical sales floor according to company standards by managing claims and returns, organizing the area, and tracking shrink or damage.
• Receive, stock, and organize Optical merchandise while following internal procedures, using equipment correctly, and completing required logs and paperwork.
• Use registers and related hardware to process purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges, and payments for different membership and payment types.
• Support Optical sales by helping with frame and lens measurements, adjustments, repairs, eyewear and contact lens orders, prescription verification, paperwork completion, payment collection for doctor services, and optometric pretests.

Pay and compensation

The hourly wage range is $33.00 to $41.00. Depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may also apply where eligible.
