As we expand our global delivery capabilities, we seek an experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead culinary delivery for large-scale international events.
Role Overview
This hands-on leadership role, based in the United States (Central or East Coast), involves overseeing food and beverage (F&B) for live events ranging from 100 up to 20,000+ attendees. You will manage budgets from $100,000 to over $12 million while partnering with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to craft exceptional culinary experiences. The position requires international travel and working across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and manage full F&B delivery for large-scale global events.
- Create tailored menus and beverage programs aligned with audience preferences, regional considerations, and event goals.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, creativity, and flawless execution in F&B offerings.
- Lead onsite operations during event setup, live days, and breakdown phases.
- Manage substantial F&B budgets, ensuring precise financial oversight, forecasting, and reporting.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve cost-effective and commercially beneficial outcomes.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with global catering partners, venues, internal teams, and clients.
- Guide project teams to deliver excellence in F&B service and innovate processes based on data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing F&B for large-scale live events with attendees ranging from 100 to over 20,000.
- Background in F&B consultancy, preferably within an agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large budgets between $100,000 and over $12 million.
- Hands-on experience leading event delivery in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Strong financial acumen including supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent multitasking capabilities managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with high ownership and accountability.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally throughout the year and work across multiple time zones.

Compensation
Salary range is $125,000 to $140,000 annually, based on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience, aligned with current team standards.
