About the Role

Infosys BPM is seeking a Bankruptcy Specialist to support US bankruptcy operations. The position is suited to professionals who understand bankruptcy workflows, can manage customer interactions with care, and are comfortable operating in a compliance-heavy environment. The role involves handling cases under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the US Bankruptcy Code while working closely with legal and operational stakeholders.

Work Setup

This is a work-from-office position requiring five days at the office each week. Night shift availability is mandatory. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on accuracy, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will research, review, and manage bankruptcy cases end-to-end while ensuring the records remain accurate and complete. The role also includes responding to customer questions and concerns, updating account and customer details across internal systems, coordinating with attorneys and internal teams, and maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state laws, court procedures, FDCPA requirements, and company guidelines.

  • Manage bankruptcy accounts under Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
  • Review case documents and process matters accurately.
  • Address customer queries, issues, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain precise records of interactions and account actions in the system.
  • Update customer and account data in internal platforms.
  • Explain loan agreement and account details to customers and authorized representatives.
  • Handle multiple cases at the same time while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Follow federal and state bankruptcy regulations, court procedures, and internal operating standards.
  • Work in line with FDCPA and other regulatory obligations.
