Uniform Room Attendant

About the Role

This position is part of a luxury hospitality team at a prominent Doha property located on the city’s longest private beach, surrounded by landscaped gardens and close to major business, government, and leisure destinations. The hotel is known for delivering refined guest experiences, multiple dining venues, recreational amenities, and a spa-led resort environment.

As a Uniform Room Attendant, you will manage the day-to-day running of the uniform room. Your focus will be to ensure colleagues consistently receive uniforms that are clean, presentable, and properly maintained, while also keeping stock records and inventory controls accurate.

Key Duties

• Hand out, collect, and arrange colleague uniforms in line with hotel procedures.
• Check each uniform for cleanliness, condition, and any visible damage before it is issued.
• Work with the Laundry team so uniforms are washed, pressed, and returned within expected timelines.
• Carry out small garment fixes such as button replacement, hem repairs, and simple alterations when needed.
• Keep precise records of uniform issue, returns, and inventory movements.
• Maintain the uniform room in a tidy, orderly, and fully supplied condition.
• Track uniform stock levels and escalate shortages or replacement needs.
• Assist with onboarding and exit processes by issuing uniforms to new team members and collecting them from departing colleagues.
• Follow all hotel standards related to hygiene, safety, and security.
• Provide courteous, efficient, and professional support to colleagues while contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will bring relevant experience from a luxury hotel or resort setting, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. A good command of spoken and written English is important, and knowledge of another language will be considered an advantage. You should also be well organized, comfortable working in a busy environment, and able to manage several tasks at once.
