Club Lounge Attendant

Role Overview

We seek a Club Lounge Attendant dedicated to delivering bespoke luxury experiences to our esteemed guests. The role centers on providing personalized service with warmth and exceptional attention to detail, anticipating guest desires to ensure they feel welcomed and valued in our exclusive club lounge.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional luxury hospitality that delivers unique and exclusive experiences for club guests.
• Provide premium food and beverage services aligned with the InterContinental brand standard, including breakfast, afternoon tea, evening drinks, and canape services.
• Recognize and warmly engage VIP guests, IHG One Rewards members, InterContinental Ambassadors, and returning patrons.
• Anticipate guest needs and give personalized recommendations on lounge offerings as well as local dining, attractions, and activities.
• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests swiftly and attentively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on city events and activities to share insider information with guests.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Strong communication abilities to effectively handle guest feedback and interactions.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure, quickly resolving issues with resourcefulness.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to turn challenges into positive guest experiences.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possession of a current valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate.
• Food Safety Certification is required.
• Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or possess a valid Australian work visa with at least six months' validity remaining at application time.
