Overview
We seek a visionary Sales and Marketing Director to lead our prestigious niche luxury fragrance brand within the UK and Ireland. The role involves overseeing all commercial, operational, and strategic facets to accelerate brand growth and fortify our presence in luxury department stores and refined retail outlets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assume complete responsibility for profit and loss management, focusing on revenue expansion, cost control, and enhancement of profit margins for the UK and Ireland markets.
- Design and implement strategic business plans, including forecasting and budgeting in line with global brand strategies.
- Track key performance metrics, analyze sales patterns, and utilize market intelligence to guide informed decisions.
- Expand and manage retail channels, targeting specialty department stores and niche retailers to uncover new opportunities and deepen partnerships.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key retail accounts through effective negotiation and brand visibility efforts.
- Ensure consistent excellence in brand presentation across all customer touchpoints, including visual merchandising and staff training.
- Lead recruitment, mentorship, and development of a high-performing team across sales, retail, and operations.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and global teams for cohesive operations and brand uniformity.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to maintain market leadership.
- Act as brand ambassador in industry events, trade exhibitions, and exclusive engagements to enhance media, influencer, and VIP relations.
- Oversee supply chain logistics, inventory control, and distribution to guarantee product availability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and uphold brand standards and risk management protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 8 years of leadership experience within luxury beauty, fragrance, or fashion sectors, particularly focused on UK and Ireland.
- In-depth understanding of fine fragrance markets and niche retail environments.
- Strong commercial aptitude with proven P&L oversight and successful retail/wholesale business development.
- A robust professional network spanning luxury retail, department stores, and niche fragrance outlets.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively in dynamic settings.
- Proactive, adaptable approach with readiness to engage hands-on with operational challenges.
