Role summary
This is a full-time, on-site UI/UX Designer position in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on user-centered product design, from early-stage wireframes and prototypes through polished visual interfaces, while working closely with different teams to create smooth digital experiences. The designer will also carry out user research, refine interactions, and turn insights into clear, intuitive, and accessible interfaces.
Key responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and the final interface screens.
- Run user research activities and usability tests to guide design decisions.
- Build and upkeep design systems, reusable components, and UI standards.
- Enhance existing user journeys and product workflows for better usability.
- Partner with developers to make sure designs are implemented correctly.
Qualifications and requirements
The ideal candidate should have around 3 or more years of hands-on UI/UX design experience and a portfolio that shows strong work across websites and applications. A bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar field is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable using Figma and other modern design tools, understand user-centered design, usability, and responsive design, and bring a solid grasp of visual design and prototyping. Basic familiarity with front-end tools and frameworks is also expected, along with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Experience related to cybersecurity or technology product design would be an added advantage.
Tools and design focus
Work will involve modern UI/UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, along with standard practices for mockup creation, interface design, prototyping, and user experience design.
