Overview
MARK Education Trust, a multi-academy trust operating across East Sussex, invites applications for the role of Trust Site Operative. This pivotal position supports the efficient running and safety of academy sites located in Crowborough, Wadhurst, and Hailsham. The Operative will travel across all Trust locations using site vehicles, including driving the school minibus to transport pupils between schools.
Working Hours and Schedule
The role is full-time with a 39.5-hour work week that includes a daily unpaid 30-minute break. Shift patterns rotate between 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
Salary and Contract
The position is permanent with a salary aligned to Single Status Grade 6, ranging from 26,824 to 27,693 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments at Trust academy sites.
- Driving Trust vehicles, including minibuses, to transport pupils safely between facilities.
- Maintaining site safety and security protocols.
- Supporting operational needs across multiple school locations with reliable travel.
Requirements
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Minibus driving requires applicants to be at least 21 years old with a minimum of three years driving experience.
- Proactive attitude, reliability, and ability to work independently.
