Trust Lawyer - Russian Speaker (UAE-Based)

Overview

This opportunity requires candidates to be currently residing in the UAE with valid residency status. The role involves comprehensive trust law responsibilities, including drafting, reviewing, and amending trust-related legal documents. Additionally, the position supports regulatory compliance and internal risk assessments within the Trust Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise Trust Deeds, agreements, and other related legal documentation.
• Establish and update legal precedents, templates, and documentation specific to the Trust Division.
• Advise on legal matters relating to trust structures, fiduciary responsibilities, and trust product offerings.
• Oversee AML/CFT compliance tasks such as Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and submitting reports via goAML.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews, risk evaluations, and regulatory audits.
• Assist in preparing trust accounting records, compliance materials, and regulatory manuals.
• Provide training and expert guidance to staff on trust law, products, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the development of new trust products and remain informed about global tax and regulatory updates.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be presently based in the UAE with valid residency documentation.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience working in trust law, corporate law, fiduciary or private client services, or financial services law.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML/CFT legislation and Free Zone compliance protocols.
• Familiarity with CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and goAML reporting is advantageous.
• Superior legal drafting, analytical, and advisory capabilities.
• Proficiency in Russian language is preferred.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Position based in Dubai, UAE.
• Working schedule: Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Salary range: AED 15,000 to AED 20,000 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
• Additional benefits include an annual airfare allowance, medical insurance, and entitlements governed by UAE Labour Law.
