Trust Doctor/GPVTS (Equivalent to ST1+) in Emergency Medicine

Overview

Newham Hospital is recruiting two Trust Doctors at the level equivalent to GPVTS/ST1+ to join its dynamic, high-pressure Emergency Department. The department handles over 90,000 patient visits yearly, managing a diverse range of complex emergency cases including major trauma, surgical and medical emergencies, infectious diseases, mental health crises, and issues related to social vulnerability in a young and socio-economically varied population.

Responsibilities

Successful applicants will work on the SHO-level rotation, gaining comprehensive experience across all sections of the Emergency Department. This includes adult and pediatric emergency care, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and clinical decision units for both adults and children.
