Job description

Role overview

This full-time Trust and Safety position is based in Dublin, Ireland at Eastpoint D3. It is a 12-month contract with the possibility of being extended. The role requires 40 hours per week and flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including rotating shifts, non-standard hours, weekends, holidays, and potentially night shifts.

In this role, you will support online safety by reviewing and assessing user profiles and content across audio, video, and text. You may also investigate, escalate, or resolve issues raised by users or identified by systems. The work is important but can be demanding, as you may be exposed to graphic, violent, sexual, or otherwise sensitive material. You may also encounter flashing lights or high-contrast visual patterns while carrying out the job.

What the role involves

  • Check, categorize, and remove content in line with client policies and using the required tools and workflows.
  • Stay current with changes in client guidelines and moderation standards.
  • Look into complex safety issues, resolve them where possible, and escalate them to the wider Trust and Safety function when needed.
  • Represent and support the user community while making balanced, policy-based decisions.
  • Contribute ideas and participation to initiatives that improve quality and efficiency.
  • Take part in ongoing training sessions and team discussions to build capability in the role.
  • Engage in conversations about socially sensitive subjects with the aim of protecting online communities.

Skills and experience needed

The ideal candidate should bring strong emotional resilience, good stress management, and a calm, objective approach to decision-making. You will need excellent reading comprehension and communication skills in Ukrainian, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze information from multiple sources. Critical thinking, sound judgment, and comfort working independently and in a team are important. A genuine interest in the internet, online platforms, and internet culture is valuable, as is cultural awareness of the region and market you will support. Experience in business process outsourcing, customer service, or content moderation is helpful but not essential.

Additional requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You need to be able to work across shifting schedules, weekends, and public holidays.
  • You must be capable of handling sensitive material professionally and without personal bias.
  • If assigned to night shifts, you must complete a night worker health assessment and remain medically fit for night work.
  • During the interview process, you will need to pass an English language assessment and a test in the relevant language for the role.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work with a large international organization.
  • Access to structured training.
  • Participation in company social events.
  • Opportunities for career progression.
