Job description
Position overview
The SWE Service GmbH is looking for a Treasury Specialist as soon as possible. This role is centered on actively managing payment flows, forecasting liquidity with a forward-looking approach, and contributing to key financing decisions. It offers a responsible position with strong analytical demands, close involvement in treasury core processes, and broad collaboration across the group environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support all cash management activities, including cash pooling and communication with banks.
- Carry out the company group’s daily account planning and disposition.
- Manage, control, and report short- to medium-term liquidity for the group companies.
- Prepare liquidity plans for both individual companies and the wider group.
- Execute and improve payment runs and general payment processing.
- Handle money market transactions and contribute to group financing activities.
- Assess financial requirements and prepare planning documents, reports, and recommendations for action.
- Organize, prepare, and conduct tender processes for loans and derivative financial instruments.
- Monitor interest-rate and financing positions, including risk assessments and forecasts.
- Record transactions in SAP and support internal as well as group-wide finance projects.
Profile and requirements
- Completed university degree, for example in business administration, economics, accounting, taxation and finance, or a comparable discipline.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in cash management, treasury, and liquidity planning.
- Understanding of corporate financing structures and financial reporting.
- Very good SAP skills, ideally in S/4HANA, especially SAP FI and SAP TR; SAP BW and payment software are an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and experience working with internal and external stakeholders, especially banks.
- Analytical, structured, and result-focused working style with a high level of personal initiative.
