Treasury & Reconciliation Analyst - Remote for Australian Non-Bank Lender

Archer Wealth is a non-bank lender based in Australia, seeking to enhance its finance team with a Treasury & Reconciliation Analyst who is highly meticulous and dedicated to ensuring financial accuracy across multiple systems.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for daily and weekly reconciliation of loan and portfolio data by comparing information across our loan management system, bank accounts, and portfolio reports, ensuring everything balances perfectly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reconciliations between loan management system data, bank statements, and accounting ledgers.
• Identify and document discrepancies, providing clear explanation and escalation as needed.
• Assist with month-end activities including loan balance verification, transaction matching (drawdowns, repayments, interest, fees), and arrears assessment.
• Support preparation and validation of portfolio and reporting data prior to distribution.
• Maintain organized reconciliation logs and supporting documentation.
• Act as a dependable reviewer by flagging irregularities promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational background or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance is desirable (a BS in Accountancy or related qualifications is advantageous).
• Proven experience with reconciliations such as bank reconciliations or ledger matching.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
• Effective written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of independent work.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within lending, loan servicing, banking, mortgages, or finance BPO sectors.
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
• Understanding of loan management systems or treasury and portfolio reporting.

Additional Information

• Employment type: Full-time or part-time.
• Remote work: Fully remote with some overlap with Sydney (AEST) business hours; approximately 2–3 hours behind.
• Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from 60000 to 75000 AUD per year.
• Long-term position with potential growth as the finance function expands.
