Job description
Role Overview
ALTAWKILAT is hiring a Treasury Accountant to support day-to-day treasury operations and bank-related accounting tasks in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with banks, complete the required forms for POS (SPAN) machine installation, and keep an updated record of all POS terminals.
- Prepare reconciliation statements for every company bank account.
- Track and follow up with banks regarding amounts that were debited incorrectly or not credited to the company’s account.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team to resolve items appearing in bank reconciliations that have not yet been posted in UMA books.
- Record daily accounting transactions through journal entries.
- Verify and confirm customer deposits received in the company’s bank accounts.
- Handle any additional duties assigned by Treasury Management.
