About the Role
Our client is a well-established manufacturer in the plastics packaging sector, offering both rigid and flexible packaging solutions. They are seeking a seasoned Treasury Accountant with strong attention to detail to support the Finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle bank-related transactions, cash disbursements, and treasury accounting records.
- Keep liquidity at healthy levels and build accurate cash flow projections.
- Spot potential cash flow exposures and take steps to reduce them.
- Follow internal treasury procedures and financial control requirements.
- Monitor and analyze finance-related costs.
- Administer financial assets as well as investment activity.
- Supervise the use of financing tools such as loans, overdrafts, and trade finance facilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury operations, banking, cash management, or a similar finance position.
- Working knowledge of treasury processes, banking platforms, and financial controls is important.
- Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy are essential.
- Candidates must demonstrate integrity, carefulness, and a strong compliance orientation.
- Good communication and report-writing skills are needed.
- The role requires someone who can perform well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
