Job Overview

Stratosphere Quality is seeking a Traveling Project Supervisor to manage and lead teams of Quality Inspectors at various manufacturing sites. This role serves both first and second shift operations based in Maryville, Tennessee, requiring flexible shift availability and travel within a two-hour radius of the base location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Inspection teams at customer manufacturing and warehouse locations.
• Support projects across 1st and 2nd shift schedules, adapting to site-specific needs.
• Manage daily project preparations, execution, and team performance oversight.
• Provide training, coaching, and development to team members on quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards as per customer requirements.
• Maintain communication with client representatives and site leadership.
• Complete necessary project documentation, reporting, and updates.
• Provide on-site leadership support as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in manufacturing or quality control preferred.
• Flexibility to work between first and second shifts as required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Adaptable to dynamic job site priorities and conditions.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within a two-hour radius around Maryville, TN.
• Background check clearance is mandatory.

Compensation and Travel

• Hourly wage: $21.00.
• Travel time and mileage reimbursed according to company policies.
