You will join a distributed operations function that supports smooth travel experiences for employees traveling to international meetings and industry events. The role centers on coordinating travel logistics, managing supplier relationships, and improving travel processes while keeping efficiency and costs under control. You will work with teams across multiple countries and contribute to both everyday travel support and larger event-related travel planning. This is a remote role suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving operational problems proactively.
What you will do
- Handle travel planning and coordination for employees and guests attending meetings, conferences, and industry events around the world.
- Answer travel-related queries quickly, troubleshoot issues, and guide colleagues on travel rules and procedures.
- Work with internal business services teams to support corporate event planning and the associated travel arrangements.
- Develop and maintain productive partnerships with travel suppliers while ensuring strong service delivery and vendor performance.
- Check travel-related invoices for correctness and oversee payments, refunds, credits, and tracking of unused tickets.
- Track travel spend, adherence to policy, sustainability measures, and travel patterns to find opportunities for improvement.
- Keep accurate records of travel credits, airline loyalty points, and reporting data to support efficient travel operations.
What the employer is looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in business, a technical subject, or a closely related field.
- Excellent organizing ability, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle several priorities at once.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to work well with international colleagues.
- A strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability when managing tasks and projects.
- Good analytical thinking and the ability to pick up new systems, tools, and software quickly.
- A self-driven approach and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
- Experience in travel operations or the travel sector is helpful but not mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to four times per year for company events lasting up to two weeks each.
Benefits and rewards
- Pay that is competitive and aligned with location, experience, and performance.
- An annual performance-linked bonus.
- Yearly review of overall compensation.
- A fully remote setup with a globally distributed team.
- In-person team gatherings twice a year.
- Learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
- Recognition and reward initiatives.
- Generous annual leave allowance.
- Maternity and paternity leave benefits.
- Employee Assistance Programme support.
- Opportunities for international travel to collaborate with colleagues.
- Priority Pass membership and travel upgrades for long-haul company events.
