About the Role
We are seeking experienced Travel Consultants to join our growing FCM team in Canberra, where you will manage comprehensive travel bookings for a dedicated Government client portfolio. At FCM, we foster a lively, collaborative office atmosphere complemented by the flexibility of working from home two days per week, balancing productivity and a strong team spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating full-spectrum travel arrangements including international flights, car rentals, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation using Sabre GDS.
- Efficiently managing complex fare rules, ticket exchanges, itinerary adjustments, and Phase IV transactions with precision.
- Cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with assigned corporate clients to deliver personalized service.
- Consistently meeting service-level agreements (SLAs) while maintaining exceptional service quality.
- Adhering to account-specific guidelines and internal company protocols for ticketing and GDS use.
- Working cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth and effective client service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager.
- Proficient use of Global Distribution Systems, ideally Sabre.
- Strong detail orientation in managing intricate travel itineraries.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication and maintaining client relations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team-focused setting.
- Commercial awareness with a commitment to driving sales and exemplary client service.
