About the Role
The NT Fire and Emergency Services is seeking a dedicated Travel and Finance Officer to join their Finance team based in Darwin. This role primarily supports the Senior Travel and Finance Officer by delivering reliable logistical assistance for travel arrangements of NT Fire and Emergency Service staff and volunteers. The position ensures travel bookings and payments comply fully with applicable legislation, enterprise agreements, and government procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with travel bookings and payment processing within set guidelines.
- Offer support, advice, and guidance to team members regarding purchasing goods and services, ensuring adherence to NT Government regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administrative or financial support roles, preferably within government or emergency service contexts.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and procurement processes governing travel and expenses.
- Ability to maintain client-focused service delivery and accurate record-keeping.
