Role overview
Naba Travel & Tourism is looking for a meticulous Travel Accountant to support its expanding team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is best suited to someone with at least one year of hands-on accounting experience in the travel and tourism sector and a strong eye for detail.
Key responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain branch-level financial records.
- Manage billing, settlements, reconciliations, and petty cash processing.
- Compile financial statements and assist with end-of-month closing work.
- Work closely with the operations and sales teams to keep financial data accurate and up to date.
- Follow internal procedures and ensure all accounting work aligns with company rules and standard accounting practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Practical exposure to BSP, travel-industry accounting, petty cash handling, bank reconciliation, and taxation.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software.
- Strong ability to analyze information, stay organized, and communicate effectively.
