Role overview

This position focuses on online transport bidding, freight quotation preparation, customer communication, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and smooth shipment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage online transport bidding activity and freight portal operations.
• Draft and compare competitive freight quotations.
• Work with the internal operations team to confirm vehicle availability.
• Collect freight pricing inputs from branches, transporters, and the fleet team.
• Prepare rate comparisons and send quotations within the required timelines.
• Coordinate with customers on freight-related enquiries.
• Track quotation approvals and order confirmations through follow-ups.
• Keep quotation logs and maintain daily MIS reports.
• Handle customer communication over email and phone.
• Partner with the operations team to arrange vehicle placement after order finalization.
• Ensure consistent and professional communication with customers during the shipment cycle.
• Assist Key Account Managers in managing customer needs.
• Collaborate with management on pricing strategy decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for candidates with 1.5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain. Prior exposure to freight quoting or transport operations is important. Strong Excel skills, clear email drafting, good English and Hindi communication, fast typing, and computer proficiency are expected. The role also requires negotiation ability, coordination strength, comfort under pressure, and the willingness to learn and adapt.
