Job description
Role Overview
The Transport Liaison Officer is responsible for managing the daily coordination, scheduling, and planning of Bus Attendants who support students with disabilities across DECYP schools. This position ensures students eligible for assistance have safe, dependable, and fair access to educational transport services. The role requires collaboration with families, schools, transport service providers, various DECYP departments, and the Department of State Growth to identify and resolve transportation issues effectively.
Position Details
- Immediate start, fixed term for three years
- Full-time commitment of 73.5 hours biweekly

Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with Employment status
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs
