Overview
Prudential Technology And Services, collaborating with the HCL Group, is setting up a new health insurance company in India aimed at meeting the escalating healthcare demands of Indian consumers. Leveraging Prudential's notable global insurance and financial services expertise combined with HCL's technological and healthcare knowledge, this greenfield initiative focuses on delivering customer-centric health insurance products and experiences. The Training Manager position plays a pivotal role in executing training strategies that shape a skilled and effective workforce supporting this mission.
Core Responsibilities
- Craft zonal training plans that align with broader organizational objectives.
- Partner with Sales and Learning Centers of Excellence to customize training modules for agents, managers, and intermediaries.
- Oversee consistent delivery of onboarding, product knowledge, compliance, and sales skill development programs.
- Lead recruitment, management, and guidance of regional training personnel.
- Carry out regular evaluations of trainer performance and skills to foster professional growth.
- Implement engagement initiatives including recognition and career progression frameworks for trainers.
- Develop and maintain training calendars encompassing regular sessions and targeted development interventions.
- Measure training effectiveness relative to business metrics such as agent productivity, retention, and compliance adherence.
- Ensure all training activities comply with regulatory and internal standards.
- Collaborate extensively with Sales Heads, HR, and state-level management to synchronize training with evolving business requirements.
- Function as a master trainer for strategic programs and high-impact initiatives.
- Maintain high-quality training content and facilitator guides, using feedback to refine courses.
- Support compliance audits related to training operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or postgraduate degree required.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in training roles, preferably within insurance or the BFSI sector.
- Proven leadership and clear communication abilities.
- Expertise in strategic training planning and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of health insurance products.
- Competence with digital learning tools and platforms.
