Position Summary

The Training and Education Director will collaborate intensively with multiple departments to synchronize training initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. This leadership role is responsible for driving effective learning programs, ensuring comprehensive training delivery, and cultivating an ongoing culture of personal and professional development throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global training and education strategy aligned with the company’s objectives to promote employee growth at every organizational level.
  • Supervise curriculum design and continual enhancement of training materials tailored for various departments and international regions, maintaining alignment with current industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee training delivery using diverse mediums including live sessions, e-learning platforms, webinars, and workshops, ensuring cultural relevance and consistency across locations.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, analyze data for insights, and implement improvements grounded in evidence.
  • Lead, mentor, and nurture a global team of training professionals, fostering a cooperative and high-achieving work environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Talent Management, and other departments to align training programs with broader corporate aims and respond to evolving business needs.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and innovative methods in training, incorporating new techniques to enhance participant engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Manage the training budget efficiently, optimizing resource allocation and vendor partnerships to deliver quality training within financial limits.
  • Support adherence to company and departmental policies, including safety programs, and maintain a tidy workplace.

Qualifications

  • Four to ten years experience in marketing consumer goods with executive-level exposure to advertising or marketing preferred.
  • Strong public speaking and instructional abilities adaptable to different audience dynamics.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting business publications, technical documents, and regulatory materials, as well as writing formal reports and documentation.
  • Numerical competency involving calculations such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Problem-solving skills applicable to varied situations lacking strict standardization, with the capability to interpret diverse types of instructions.

Physical Demands

  • Role may require occasional standing, walking, sitting, hand manipulation, reaching, talking, hearing, and sensory activities like tasting or smelling.
  • Light physical effort involving exertion of up to 40 pounds occasionally and/or lesser amounts frequently or constantly.
  • Vision requirements include near and far focus, depth perception, adaptability, color recognition, and field of vision.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, with eligibility for annual incentive bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement options, and paid time off. The final salary depends on experience, credentials, skills, and location.
