Job description
Role overview
We are hiring a Low-speed Traffic Management Operative in Nuneaton. This position sits within a road-safety focused business that supports safe traffic flow during roadworks by installing and managing temporary traffic arrangements across the UK.
The role is a full-time, on-site opportunity with general weekly hours of 40 to 48. Day shifts are most common, but the job can also involve evening, night, and weekend work, travel away from home during busy periods, and participation in an on-call rota, especially where a company van is available.
Inclusive hiring
Applications are encouraged from women, veterans, and people with disabilities. Candidates who meet the essential criteria will be guaranteed an interview. Reasonable adjustments can be requested during recruitment.
About the company
The organisation helps keep roadworkers and road users safe by setting up temporary road closures, diversions, pedestrian routes, cones, signs, traffic lights, and barriers. It also works with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to plan and deliver traffic management schemes, using innovation and technology to improve safety and reduce environmental impact.
The business describes itself as growing quickly after its strongest year to date and offers a career path that includes development and progression.
