Role Overview
This permanent, full-time position based at the Tauranga branch involves working across trade sales, inwards goods, and delivery driving. The role suits a versatile, dependable individual, physically capable and motivated to contribute in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include serving customers at the trade counter, handling inventory, completing deliveries, and supporting warehouse operations.
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the trade counter ensuring customers receive necessary supplies promptly
- Assist with inventory control including receiving inwards goods
- Deliver products to customer sites, fostering strong customer relations
- Pick and pack orders efficiently
- Conduct cycle counts and replenish stock as required
- Maintain housekeeping duties ensuring the branch remains clean, safe, and orderly
- Offer support across different branch areas as needed
Candidate Profile
- Customer-oriented approach both within the branch and while on the road
- Positive mindset, cooperative team player willing to contribute extra effort
- Physically fit for lifting items up to 20kg safely
- Flexible and reliable with willingness to engage in hands-on tasks including truck loading
- Trade industry knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory as training will be provided
- Adaptable and able to handle unforeseen situations calmly and logically
- Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time management in a pressure environment
- Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence; forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal communication skills

- The role is rostered for 40 hours per week
- Salary is reflective of experience and reviewed annually
