Role Overview

Join our Penrose Trade Centre team at NZ Safety Blackwoods as a Trade Sales Assistant focused on delivering an excellent customer experience within a bustling trade environment. This part-time position works Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm (5.5 hours per week), providing hands-on involvement in sales, stock management, and customer service. The role is pivotal in fostering strong customer relationships and supporting diverse industries across Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the Trade Centre.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions from our extensive product range.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
• Spot opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Help maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards.
• Replenish stock and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Contribute toward a positive, safe, and efficient workplace team environment.
