Role overview
Shiseido is hiring a Trade Marketing Executive in Dubai, UAE for a permanent, full-time onsite role. The position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager, Prestige Brands.

What the role involves
This role focuses on planning and delivering regional trade and e-trade activity for the Shiseido brand, coordinating execution across markets, retail partners, suppliers, and internal teams. It also includes ownership of POSM, temporary merchandising, planograms, budget tracking, competitor monitoring, and administrative support for the marketing function.
Key duties
- Create and roll out regional trade and e-trade plans, coordinating with markets, suppliers, malls, retailers, and distributors while securing permissions and space reservations.
- Work with suppliers and the EMEA team on animation concepts and make sure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned so activations launch on schedule.
- Partner with the commercial and training teams to set targets, monitor performance, and define corrective actions when needed.
- Oversee temporary merchandising updates, including regional lightbox visual refreshes and video content across free-standing stores and key regional retailers.
- Build and implement monthly traffic-driving plans for Shiseido free-standing stores with Majid Al Futtaim and other internal functions such as PR, Commercial, and Training.
- Design and execute FSS animation tables with supplier support, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed in advance.
- Review trade animation results using ROI and sell-out data and adjust future plans accordingly.
- Manage brand POSM such as samples, GWPs, and testers, including forecasting, ensuring timely availability, and monitoring monthly spend against budget.
- Own A&P budget lines related to POSM, selling contribution, and temporary visual merchandising production.
- Develop and implement 3-axis planograms with the Visual Merchandising team.
- Ensure planograms are properly communicated and executed with VM teams, distributors, commercial teams, and retailers.
- Prepare a monthly newsletter covering upcoming initiatives and support the marketing team with presentations for retailers, internal meetings, budget reviews, and international stakeholders.
- Share product launch and activation assets and guidelines with retailers, distributors, and suppliers to protect consistency and brand standards.
- Track competitor trade activity across offline and online channels and circulate useful insights and best practices internally.
- Coordinate monthly office orders across marketing teams and maintain spreadsheets and inventory records.
- Handle day-to-day administrative work, including raising purchase orders and maintaining the PO tracker to keep department operations running smoothly.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate has 3 to 4 years of experience in marketing or trade marketing, preferably in the luxury or cosmetics sector. Strong organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and analytical thinking are essential. The role also calls for the ability to manage multiple priorities, work in fast-moving and uncertain situations, and communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage. Familiarity with the Middle East market, solid Microsoft Office skills, and alignment with Shiseido’s Trust 8 principles are also important.
