Trade Drive Thru Team Member - Mitre 10 MEGA Te Rapa

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Trade Drive Thru Team Member to become an integral part of the Mitre 10 MEGA Te Rapa team. This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly, Tuesday through Saturday, predominantly covering late shifts until 7:00 pm. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained drive thru environment while providing top-notch customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, fostering reliable and positive relationships with trade customers.
• Show enthusiasm and solid understanding of timber and building products.
• Approach tasks proactively with a hands-on mindset and positive attitude.
• Uphold health and safety standards to maintain a secure workplace for colleagues and customers.
• Keep the drive thru consistently clean, tidy, and well-organized.
• Handle manual loading and unloading of timber and construction materials as needed.
• Accurately process orders and manage stock with attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with both customers and team members at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience in customer service roles.
• Existing or willingness to gain strong product knowledge in timber and building supplies.
• Physically capable and comfortable performing manual handling duties.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A dependable, proactive team player with a positive outlook.
• Possession of or readiness to obtain a forklift licence with F endorsement; training support provided.
