Overview
Mitre 10 MEGA Tauranga is looking for a dedicated and experienced leader to spearhead its Trade Drive Thru operations. This full-time role involves working closely with store management to run daily activities, leading a motivated team, and ensuring top-notch customer service is delivered consistently. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, including work on one weekend day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service embodying the company’s interests.
- Leverage expertise in DIY, power tools, timber, and building materials, while primarily focusing on strong leadership capabilities.
- Manage team performance, inspire team motivation, and drive operational success.
- Oversee budget administration and inventory control processes.
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations, fostering a secure environment for both staff and customers.
- Maintain a valid New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license; possessing a forklift license is an added advantage.
Deliverables
- Lead and build a high-achieving team that consistently surpasses customer expectations.
- Streamline and enhance departmental procedures to boost productivity and service quality.
- Ensure precise stock monitoring and efficient order fulfillment.
- Champion health and safety best practices, assuring compliance and safety for all employees.
- Focus on staff engagement through training, career development, and succession planning; fulfill Duty Management duties as required.
