About the Role
Global Pacific Support seeks an experienced Towing Dispatcher who specializes in supporting U.S. towing companies. This remote position involves managing dispatch of towing and roadside assistance services using Towbook software. The role requires coordination with drivers, customers, insurance firms, and law enforcement agencies to ensure swift and professional handling of towing operations, including police-initiated calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dispatch requests for towing and roadside assistance via Towbook software.
- Coordinate effectively with drivers to guarantee prompt service delivery.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, insurance representatives, and police authorities.
- Track and update the status of towing jobs in real-time.
- Work directly with law enforcement agencies for towing at accident scenes and police-ordered tows.
- Prioritize and efficiently handle multiple dispatch tasks concurrently.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a dispatcher for towing companies operating in the U.S. market.
- Proficiency using Towbook dispatch software.
- Familiarity with police towing procedures, accident-related dispatch, and law enforcement coordination.
- Ability to liaise with police units on standby during towing assignments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good multitasking and critical thinking capabilities.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet environment suitable for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications and Conditions
- Experience with roadside assistance operations and accident management.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of U.S. geography and dispatch protocols is advantageous.
