Role Overview
Amazon is hiring an experienced and dynamic Tour Manager to lead the Tour Leader program across multiple Robotics Fulfillment Centers. This vital position involves managing a dispersed team remotely, frequently traveling to various fulfillment sites for in-person evaluations, coaching, and operational support. The manager will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of engaging, informative tours that highlight Amazon's innovation, technology, and commitment to employees and environmental stewardship.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Tour Leaders spanning several Robotics Fulfillment Centers.
- Occasionally conduct high-quality tours for VIP guests at fulfillment centers.
- Travel regularly to observe tours, perform audits, and provide hands-on feedback and coaching at site locations.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard Tour Leaders to maintain staffing adequacy.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align tours with design specifications and meet capacity, customer experience, and traffic objectives.
- Devise and implement continuous improvement plans to enhance tour quality and team performance.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and execute improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and Amazon’s policies during tour operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to keep Tour Leaders informed about new technologies, company initiatives, and best practices.
- Manage scheduling and tour capacity to optimize resource allocation across locations.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the tour program and other Amazon departments to ensure smooth functionality and resolve issues.
Typical Workday
A typical day involves remote team check-ins across different time zones addressing urgent matters, reviewing metrics and visitor feedback, delivering virtual coaching sessions, and collaborating with marketing and product teams. Travel days include observing and auditing multiple fulfillment center tours, providing immediate feedback, meeting local management, and conducting training workshops.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in management roles.
