Job description

Role overview

This position is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely on a flexible schedule. The work focuses on checking whether AI-generated security output is accurate and practical, and using real-world expertise to strengthen how these models understand threats and defenses.

As an independent contractor, you may use this opportunity either as a side engagement or as your main work arrangement. After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and can begin accessing paid assignments through the platform.

What you will do

You will collaborate with modern AI models on cybersecurity-related tasks, including assessing generated content, working through technical security challenges, and giving detailed feedback that helps improve future model performance.

  • Review AI-produced cybersecurity material, such as threat assessments, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security guidance, and judge whether it is accurate and believable in practice.
  • Build and solve technical security scenarios used to train AI systems.
  • Produce concise technical write-ups and security-related code.
  • Offer feedback that influences the development of next-generation AI security models.

Requirements

This role is aimed at professionals with substantial hands-on cybersecurity experience. Candidates should also be comfortable with coding and have strong written English skills.

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, including areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Working coding knowledge, including the ability to navigate and patch an existing codebase.
  • Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, plus solid writing ability.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.

Compensation and contract terms

Projects are paid hourly, with starting rates of $50 to $100+ per hour and bonus pay available on some assignments. Payment is made through PayPal. You will not be asked to pay any fee or send money at any stage. This is an independent contractor arrangement.

Work style and availability

You can choose which projects to take on and decide when to work. The role is fully remote, and you work from your own computer on your own schedule.

Location and eligibility

This opportunity is available only to candidates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
