Shift Timings
- Sunday: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation and Hours
Starting pay begins at £15.59 per hour, increasing up to £16.86 in stores inside the M25 area, with potential location-based bonuses. There is a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours weekly, with some roles offering a minimum of 12 hours. Your work schedule will respect your availability and be communicated at least three weeks in advance; applications are welcomed even if your availability closely matches requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to ensure excellent customer experiences throughout the store.
- Engage across all store departments, serving as the primary contact for daily operational questions.
- Create a positive and inclusive workplace fostering peak team performance.
- Confidently manage store operations in the absence of the Manager.
- Adapt flexibly and make well-balanced decisions amidst change.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and act as a role model demonstrating exemplary customer service.
- Maintain curiosity and continuously seek ways to enhance service for customers, communities, and environmental impact.
Requirements
- Applicants must be aged 18 or older.
- Prior experience leading or managing teams in a fast-moving retail environment is required.
- Exhibit strong role-model qualities with a dedication to excellent customer service and meeting customer needs.
- Develop and sustain supportive and inclusive team relationships.
- Communicate clearly using various methods to keep the team informed.
- Demonstrate natural leadership that inspires and motivates teams towards achieving outstanding results.
