Territory Service Representative (TSR) - Bikers and Operations Staff - Van Pickup and Delivery

Job Overview

The role of Territory Service Representative (TSR) involves managing delivery and pickup operations efficiently and accurately. This position requires handling consignments including loading, sorting, scanning, delivering, and collecting acknowledgements, while following the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining high customer service standards. This opportunity is available for Bikers as well as Operations Staff handling van pickup and delivery tasks.

Delivery Responsibilities

• Unload shipment bags from vehicles carefully.
• Scan shipments systematically to track progress.
• Conduct primary and secondary sorting of consignments for efficient delivery.
• Outscan shipments in accordance with the designated delivery routes.
• Deliver parcels strictly to the addresses mentioned on packages.
• Collect customer acknowledgements through a device provided by Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy.
• Record appropriate status codes for shipments that could not be delivered at the customer's address.
• Adhere to training guidelines provided for the delivery process.
• Hand over cash on delivery (COD) amounts to supervisors on the same day.
• Return undelivered shipments to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a proper dress code and carry field delivery bags to all delivery sites.

Pickup Responsibilities

• Perform pickups as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Arrive punctually at customer locations to meet cutoff timings.
• Verify serviceability of locations before pickups.
• Count shipments at the customer site and obtain signatures on pickup sheets as proof of collection.
• Inscan shipments at the office and manage rapid entry into systems.
• Sort shipments through primary and secondary sorting.
• Carry out bagging processes and load canvas bags into vehicles appropriately.
• Ensure timely arrivals at connection points to maintain seamless operations.

Operations Staff Specific Duties (Van Pickup and Delivery)

• Load shipments route-wise with accurate tallying.
• Deliver shipments to intended customers precisely.
• Manage Proof of Delivery (POD), Freight on Delivery (FOD), Delivery on Delivery (DOD), and Cash on Delivery (COD) processes along with maintaining delivery run sheets.
• Assign correct status codes for undelivered shipments.
• Meet Estimated Delivery Dates (EDD) and achieve Service Quality (SQ) targets diligently.
• Submit cash and shipment documentation to supervisors on the same day.
• Return undelivered shipments efficiently to supervisors.
• Execute appointment delivery processes as required.
• Maintain a professional dress code and demonstrate a customer-centric attitude.
