Role overview
Unilever is seeking a Territory Sales Officer to drive sales performance and market coverage in the assigned territory. The position reports to the ASM and is based in Dhenkanal, Orissa.

What the role involves
- Meet sales goals by actively visiting the market and supporting distribution growth.
- Oversee the distributor setup, including both customer-facing and operational back-end systems.
- Review MIS reports in a structured way to spot performance gaps and identify opportunities in the territory.
- Work with distributors, guide their teams, and improve their ability to manage customers and generate additional business.
- Build strong trade relationships to improve market presence and gather useful market inputs for the branch.
- Look for ways to strengthen competitive standing through better customer service.
- Track distributor and distributor sales team performance regularly and take corrective action where infrastructure or execution gaps exist.
Skills and requirements
- A full-time graduate degree is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience in channel sales is required.
- Strong ability to calculate ROI and manage RS distribution.
- Working knowledge of RS appointment processes and sales planning.
- Experience in executing promotional activities and field-level activation.
- Comfort with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication skills in English and the local language are preferred.
