Territory Manager - Wellington & Palmerston North

About the Role

As a Territory Manager based in the greater Wellington and Palmerston North regions, you will spearhead sales growth and profitability by implementing promotional and shopper engagement strategies focused on expanding PepsiCo brand presence. Using sales scan data, you will identify in-store execution opportunities such as optimizing distribution, shelf space, and display effectiveness. Building and sustaining strong customer relationships is essential to ensure compliance and uncover additional discretionary prospects while maintaining a culture of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Bluebird promotional campaigns in key stores including New World, Pak N Save, Four Square, Woolworths, Fresh Choice, Kmart, TWL, and Gilmours.
• Develop robust relationships across multiple store levels within your territory.
• Negotiate in-store displays to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Implement new product launches and major activation plans monthly according to commercial priorities.
• Utilize Dunnhumby data monthly to assess grocery channel performance, identify trends, and target growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years’ experience in the FMCG sector, preferably with field sales exposure.
• Strong commercial acumen with analytical capabilities.
• Experience in field sales is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Dunnhumby tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities including presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
