Role Overview

Operating primarily within the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, the Territory Manager will engage closely with distributors, contractors, and customers in the rural sector. This role focuses on increasing sales, expanding market share, and offering excellent customer service through the development and execution of strategic sales plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with essential merchants to ensure smooth end-to-end customer service from business acquisition through order fulfillment.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets including managing pricing negotiations, order processing, contract renewals, and promotional activities.
• Providing product training sessions and merchandising support to strengthen partnerships with distribution channels.
• Analyzing market trends and uncovering new business opportunities to drive sales growth.

Candidate Profile

• Ideally possesses 3 to 5 years of experience in the rural infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrates strong negotiation and influencing abilities to clearly communicate value propositions aligned with customer needs.
• Exhibits outstanding relationship-building and customer service skills with an approachable and engaging style.
• Proven success in sales with consistent achievement of revenue goals and expertise in managing sales processes.
• Displays keen business insight, capable of strategic planning, forecasting, key account management, and proficient use of CRM tools.
• Understands pricing strategies and margin analysis thoroughly to make informed decisions supporting company profitability.
