Role overview
The Territory Manager for Car Loans is tasked with bringing in new borrowers for car finance within assigned areas in India. The position centers on face-to-face customer interaction, presenting car loan offerings, and delivering a strong service experience. The incumbent will assess customer requirements, work within internal and external compliance frameworks, and help drive the bank’s expansion through disbursals while protecting portfolio quality. The role also contributes to digital adoption and team capability-building in support of the organization’s strategic goals.
Primary responsibilities
- Source new car loan customers from the designated segment and catchment area.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly acquisition goals by understanding transaction banking requirements.
- Share customer insights and emerging opportunities with Relationship Managers on a regular basis.
- Follow the organization’s sales standards and standard operating procedures without deviation.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal policies as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the quality of sourcing aligns with credit guidelines and operating norms.

- Encourage a collaborative team culture that supports digital enablement and improves customer experience.
- Contribute to initiatives designed to support the bank’s high-growth objectives.
Education
A graduate degree in any discipline is required. A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 2 to 7 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in car loans or retail lending.
