About the Role
The Territory Manager for 2-Wheeler Loans will take ownership of sourcing and managing loan business through dealers and existing channel partners. This position is centered on growing a strong loan book, keeping it aligned with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and driving retail lending growth through a balanced approach to sales and risk management. The role also involves leading a team, strengthening market relationships, and supporting the bank’s wider retail lending goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Bring in and manage business through dealers and other market-based sourcing channels.
- Win new customers and keep loan disbursement volumes steady.
- Protect portfolio quality by reducing delinquent accounts and loan rejections.
- Track channel partners and provide direction so their efforts stay aligned with business objectives.
- Keep abreast of retail asset products, operating workflows, and market movement.
- Spot changes in the market and build approaches for channel expansion and customer acquisition.
- Follow internal policies, operating procedures, and compliance requirements without exception.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Suggest ways to improve sales workflows and credit policies so efficiency and customer service can improve.
- Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure smooth service delivery and a better customer experience.
- Support stronger sourcing through strategic alliances and direct channels.
Education
A graduate degree in any discipline is required. A postgraduate qualification such as MBA or PGDM is preferred.
Experience
Candidates should bring at least 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending, ideally in 2-wheeler finance or a similar asset-backed lending area.

This role calls for solid knowledge of retail lending and credit operations, strong English communication, channel management capability, business development focus, negotiation and relationship-building strength, an analytical approach to portfolio health and risk, team leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a strong sense of compliance and integrity.
