Job Overview
Join Electrolux Group, a global leader in household appliances, as a Territory Account Manager responsible for managing key business territories within Auckland and Northland. This role involves spearheading sales efforts for Electrolux's portfolio of top-tier brands and products by creating and implementing strategic sales plans aligned with promotional and key account initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business owners, franchisees, buyers, and department managers through individual business reviews.
- Identify sales opportunities including sell-in potentials and analyze inventory levels to balance stock effectively.
- Evaluate sales trends to optimize SKU stock weighting, leveraging in-house data for category growth prospects.
- Handle sales related to tier-2 and damaged goods collaboratively with General Manager and Key Account Managers.
- Benchmark SKU margins against market prices and analyze commercial performance using internal models and frameworks.
- Create detailed benchmark reports comparing month-to-date and year-to-date sales by category with prior years.
- Recognize additional product ranging opportunities informed by past sell-out data and geographical demand.
- Develop and execute channel account plans, drive promotional deals and product offers, and enhance store assortments leveraging channel investments.
- Communicate and enforce Electrolux’s consumer promotional programs while managing new product introductions and lifecycle stages.
- Reconcile core range displays using SAP data and manage display allowances per company policies.
- Monitor competitor activities, gathering and reporting on pricing, products, and promotions, formulating strategies to defend market share.
- Deliver product and process training to internal teams and retail partners, coordinating with Product Line, Training, and Marketing teams.
- Manage inventory, purchase orders, delivery tracking, credit claims, and reporting related to backorders or allocated orders.
- Ensure all product POS materials and consumer promotion displays are properly maintained and updated in retail locations.
- Maintain display presentations, ensuring the availability and condition of all display models.
Required Profile
- Proven experience in field sales, particularly as an Account Manager or Territory Manager within the whitegoods, home appliances, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, understanding both the company’s and customers’ business models.
- Excellent analytical skills, capable of assessing various data points to make informed decisions.
- Negotiation skills focused on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes with optimal pricing and margins.
- Proficiency with sales and operational systems including SAP, Cognos, CRM platforms, and maintaining data integrity.
- Awareness of market drivers and external industry trends relevant to appliance sales.
- Effective communication abilities, with clear and convincing presentation skills.
- Team player mindset with a collaborative attitude toward solving problems and seizing new opportunities.
