About the Team
The APAC sales organization works as one connected revenue engine, with account executives, customer engineers, partner managers, business development, customer experience, professional services, and revenue operations all supporting the customer journey from acquisition through expansion.
The team operates with an AI-supported model, but the role still depends on human judgment, critical thinking, and trust-building with customers.
Role Overview
This position focuses on growing revenue across a defined territory by winning new business and expanding existing customer relationships. The ideal hire combines strong sales capability with enough technical understanding to speak confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
You will be expected to improve revenue performance through disciplined forecasting, active pipeline management, and consistent overachievement of targets. The role suits someone who uses AI as a productivity multiplier, stays focused on customer outcomes, and works with curiosity and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and run a full territory strategy that supports strong and sustained revenue performance.
- Build durable relationships with strategic accounts and partners, and lead senior-level business transformation conversations.
- Work closely with priority partners as an extension of the sales team for joint selling, customer access, services support, and procurement leverage.
- Maintain regular forecast and pipeline reviews with key partners.
- Learn customer network environments, identify business problems Cloudflare can solve, and clearly position solutions that support secure, scalable AI-driven workloads.
- Lead contract discussions and shape broader commercial agreements such as multi-year, multi-product, outcome-based commitments.
- Stay involved after the sale through onboarding, adoption, and the first renewal, while coordinating with Customer Engineers and Professional Services on milestone-based deployment plans.
- Build a healthy pipeline using internal systems, AI-assisted research, and leads from BDR, channel, and marketing sources.
- Keep CRM records accurate, maintain pipeline discipline, and ensure forecasting is reliable.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling technology solutions within the iGaming and Entertainment sector.
- Proven history of exceeding multi-million-dollar quota targets.
- Strong ability in discovery, solution positioning, competitive selling, negotiation, closing, and land-and-expand selling.
- Solid understanding of computer networking, cloud security, and enterprise infrastructure, especially in automated data environments.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and value-selling skills.
- Working knowledge of modern sales tools, customer data platforms, and business systems such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Google Workspace.
- Strong judgment, calm decision-making under uncertainty, and the ability to identify risks clearly and build trust over time.
- Comfort using AI tools regularly and experimenting with new approaches.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Cultural fluency for emerging markets.
