About the Role

We are currently seeking Tendering Specialists to support our Grid Integration Business located in Dublin.

Work Location: Dublin with a hybrid model requiring approximately 3 days in the office weekly. Please note this role does not offer visa support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by optimizing product combinations and considering technical and commercial factors; produce timely and accurate tenders with full costing details.
• Oversee all technical preparations including technology and product selection, financial analysis such as pricing sheets and cash flow, and project management aspects like estimating engineering and commissioning hours.
• Coordinate timely contributions for bid editing processes adhering to quality standards and schedule; manage external services including translations and obtaining governmental approvals.
• Gather and archive documentation related to offers and orders; keep a record of assumptions and decisions throughout the bid development; regularly update bid statuses and analyze outcomes using standard tools.
• Identify and manage potential risks within bids and related contracts, participating in risk reviews according to company policies.
• Collect and organize all technical and cost information necessary to formulate proposals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their requirements and enhance their experience during sales; provide technical assistance to Sales Managers during client meetings.
• Evaluate and select vendors by reviewing technical offers, ensuring alignment with project specifications; collaborate with Supply Chain Management to coordinate subcontractor requests.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing competitive bids, estimates, and quotations.
• Strong technical expertise in choosing appropriate technologies and products for projects.
• Competence in handling financial aspects such as pricing structures and cash flow forecasts.
• Experience in project management including assessing engineering and commissioning efforts.
• Skilled at coordinating bid preparation processes to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency in maintaining thorough documentation and analyzing tender results.
• Ability to identify risks and engage in risk management within tender and contract processes.
• Capability to compile comprehensive technical and cost data for proposal generation.
• Exceptional customer relationship management and ability to support technical discussions during sales.
• Competence in vendor evaluation and collaboration with supply chain teams.
