Technology Recruitment Consultant (Immediate Joiner)

Role overview

Addeco Middle East is looking for a Technology Recruitment Consultant in the UAE to focus on cybersecurity hiring. This role suits a driven recruiter who can identify, attract, assess, and hire strong cybersecurity professionals across both technical and leadership functions. A solid background in cybersecurity, IT, or technology recruitment is preferred, along with familiarity with security-focused roles, certifications, and hiring trends.

The position is based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE, and is open for an immediate joiner. The client is seeking someone with up to 5 years of experience. Local talent is preferred. UAE experience of at least 1 to 2 years in a client-facing role is mandatory. This is a specialist technology recruiting role, not an HR or onboarding position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment funnel and serve as the main contact for candidates.
• Define new job requirements and build interview stages with hiring managers.
• Identify, assess, and interview candidates for permanent direct-hire roles.
• Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and partners when needed.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand cybersecurity hiring needs and role expectations.
• Search for and evaluate candidates for cybersecurity openings such as Security Analysts, SOC Analysts, Penetration Testers, Security Engineers, Cloud Security Specialists, GRC professionals, Incident Responders, and CISO-level leaders.
• Create and maintain strong talent pipelines through job boards, professional networks, events, referrals, and recruitment tools.
• Review technical experience, professional certifications, and overall fit for the organization.
• Arrange interviews, collect feedback, support offer discussions, and assist with onboarding coordination.
• Keep up with cybersecurity market movements, certification trends, compensation levels, and talent availability.
• Support employer branding efforts to attract top cybersecurity talent.
• Maintain clean and accurate records, reports, and updates in the applicant tracking system.
• Ensure candidates have a smooth and positive experience throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• 2 to 5+ years of recruitment experience in cybersecurity, IT, or technical hiring.
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity terminology, core concepts, and industry certifications.
• Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media channels for sourcing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple vacancies in a fast-moving environment.
• UAE experience of 1 to 2 years in a client-facing capacity is required.
• Experience recruiting for SOC, cloud security, threat intelligence, or compliance roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls is an advantage.
• Knowledge of certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISM, and CCSP is preferred.
• Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics tools is an added plus.
