Role Overview

We seek an energetic and inspiring AI Technology Director with a solid technical and product background to help architect and develop cutting-edge financial technology solutions. This leader will craft and execute a long-term strategic vision, streamline the software development lifecycle, and lead AI-driven innovations across our platforms. In a dynamic, fast-paced setting, you will be deeply involved in all stages from planning through deployment, with a strong focus on excellent user experiences, quality software creation, and nurturing a high-performing engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold full accountability for products and technology choices regarding AI integration and functionalities.
• Engage closely with senior client technical leadership to establish strategic technical directions for accounts or portfolios.
• Collaborate with clients to define product performance indicators and set technical quality benchmarks across complex project portfolios, ensuring teams meet these goals.
• Identify and recommend efficiencies within project plans.
• Develop, publish, maintain, and drive execution of a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to client and portfolio objectives.
• Manage technical dependencies, risk factors, and critical path assessments across accounts or portfolios.
• Promote best practices and refine processes within the account structure.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to senior engineering teams.
• Work jointly with delivery, sales, account management, and technical leadership at new and existing client organizations to generate new business opportunities and impact revenues.

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience within financial services, insurance, or fintech sectors.
• More than 5 years in solution architecture and product management roles.
• Background in technology leadership roles such as Technology Management, Consulting, CTO, or CPO.
• Comprehensive expertise spanning multiple technologies with demonstrated prior involvement.
• Firm understanding of emerging technology trends including AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

Essential Skills

• Strong product orientation with experience designing, executing, and launching products or feature sets.
• Proven record delivering AI-based solutions such as AI agents, automation within software workflows, and AI-enabled SaaS enhancement.
• Demonstrated capability in supporting teams adopting AI tools responsibly, securely, and efficiently.
• Insight into AI’s influence on software architecture, deployment rhythms, and operational frameworks.

• Proficiency at collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to function productively in a distributed global team environment.
• Recognized thought leadership both inside and outside the organization.
• Experience coaching senior engineering staff.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Capacity to track and forecast market trends.
• Fluency in English.
