About the role
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Technician in Production Operations to support a fast-paced fill and pack environment at its on-site facility in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, County Clare, Ireland. The role sits within the Production Operations function and reports to the Supervisor, Production Operations. You will join the Fillpack team and contribute to the manufacture of diagnostic products used in clinical settings worldwide.

Working hours
This is a night-shift position with the following schedule: Monday to Thursday from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am, and Friday from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Key responsibilities
The technician will be responsible for operating automatic or semi-automatic production equipment after training, supporting packing and labeling activities, and helping keep equipment ready for efficient operation.
- Run equipment once the required training has been completed.
- Keep machinery and associated equipment in suitable working condition.
- Follow the approved cleaning process for equipment and machines.
- Fill and label products according to the training plan.
- Pack and label kits.
- Prepare packing materials and components for kit assembly.
- Carry out kit and vial inspections when needed.
- Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.
- Adapt to changes in processes, equipment layout, production methods, and new machinery or workflows.
- Maintain clear, accurate logs, records, and documents.
- Follow all applicable procedures and compliance requirements.
- Observe departmental housekeeping standards.
- Follow dress code requirements.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety rules.
- Provide job-function training to other team members when required.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the essential educational requirement and should ideally bring manufacturing experience.
- Leaving Certificate.
- Prior manufacturing experience is beneficial.
