Role overview
Reef Holding is looking for a sharp, detail-focused Governance Specialist to work from the CEO Office in Riyadh. The position is centered on governance frameworks, compliance monitoring, and process improvement, with direct support to executive decision-making and organization-wide operational excellence.
What you will do
- Build, revise, and manage core governance documentation such as company policies, SOPs, delegation of authority matrices (DOA), and service level agreements (SLA).
- Make sure governance materials stay aligned with the company structure and executive direction.
- Track compliance with approved policies and governance standards across departments.
- Spot weaknesses in governance and help strengthen internal controls and operational compliance.
- Review operational workflows and suggest improvements that increase efficiency and governance effectiveness.
- Assist with automation and digital governance work using tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, ClickUp, and Power BI.
- Prepare senior leadership reports on compliance status, governance risks, KPIs, and operational results.
- Support executive and operational committees, including tracking decisions and monitoring follow-up actions.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a similar discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in governance, compliance, internal control, operations, or management consulting.
- Prior exposure to retail, multi-entity businesses, or fast-moving operational settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP platforms and governance structures is considered an advantage.
- Strong capability in creating policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
- Good understanding of internal control, risk management, compliance, and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to examine processes and convert findings into practical governance improvements.
- Experience with digital workflow and reporting solutions is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to produce executive-level reports.
- Highly disciplined follow-through and execution habits.
- Comfort working closely with senior leaders and handling sensitive matters.
- A professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
