Technical Support Engineer - Business Analyst (Onshore based)

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role in Abu Dhabi for a Technical Support Engineer - Business Analyst. The position is with a government entity and is offered on a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Job Purpose

The selected candidate will help prepare key technical inputs for the company’s Long Term Plan process, support project planning and sanction documentation, and contribute to the monitoring and analysis of multi-energy and gas asset activities in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare core technical inputs for the company’s Long Term Plan exercise.
• Maintain and refresh planning systems used to align affiliate project schedules with the organization’s global priorities.
• Assist with compiling dossiers required for approval of new projects.
• Update and improve analytical tools used for the UAE multi-energy market.
• Track and report on commercial and business performance across multi-energy activities in the UAE.
• Support gas asset management activities.
• Gather production data, consolidate reports, and help interpret the results.
• Monitor KPIs related to gas assets.
• Spot opportunities to enhance monitoring and reporting tools for asset performance.
• Help coordinate strategic events and meetings with external stakeholders.
