This opportunity is for a full-time independent contractor working remotely from Canada.

What you’ll do
- Analyze technical hiring needs in detail so you can understand the stacks, tools, environments, and role expectations for each engineering position.
- Run high-volume sourcing and candidate outreach, with a target of at least two strong submissions every day.
- Move quickly to fill assignments, aiming to complete role fulfillment within a 48-hour turnaround where possible.
- Handle the entire recruitment cycle in the ATS, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer-stage support.
- Conduct structured interviews focused on technical capability, experience fit, and cultural alignment.
- Use proactive outreach methods such as cold calling and LinkedIn search to engage passive candidates.
- Work closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders to keep candidate profiles aligned with business needs.
- Keep accurate interview notes and documentation to support an efficient and smooth candidate journey.
Requirements
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally in IT, software, or engineering.
- Previous experience recruiting in a SaaS, technology, or consulting setting.
- Strong outbound sourcing capability, including cold calling and advanced LinkedIn searching.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Availability to work a fixed 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule in the EST time zone.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to stay organized while managing several open roles at the same time and working to tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Ability to communicate in French, both verbally and in writing.
- Prior experience working with the Loxo ATS.
- Exposure to contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with the telecommunications industry.
