Job description
Role overview
Securecom works with organisations throughout Aotearoa to provide modern, secure, and forward-looking technology and cyber solutions. As the company expands, it is seeking a Technical Corporate Account Manager to strengthen its sales organisation.
This position suits someone who enjoys earning trusted relationships, taking initiative, and connecting technical offerings to real business results.
What you will do
- Own a portfolio of important mid-market customers and serve as the main strategic contact for their IT and security needs.
- Develop and sustain long-term relationships with senior executives and other key decision-makers.
- Facilitate regular governance discussions and share practical, value-driven guidance.
- Grow revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and structured account development plans.
- Spot opportunities to deepen Securecom’s presence across your assigned accounts.
- Lead technical roadmap conversations and ensure solutions support business goals.
- Influence stakeholders with commercially sound recommendations, proposals, and business cases.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Service Delivery, Professional Services, and Product teams to achieve strong customer outcomes.
- Oversee contract discussions, renewals, and negotiations to deliver mutually beneficial agreements.
- Guide a virtual engineering team aligned to your accounts so service quality and project delivery stay on track.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate brings substantial B2B ICT sales and account management experience, along with the confidence to work with CxO-level stakeholders. You should understand IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity well enough to explain complex ideas in clear business terms.
We are looking for someone who is commercially sharp, analytical, highly organised, and able to juggle multiple priorities. A self-starting, results-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and experience working in or around managed services or an MSSP environment are all important. Prior experience leading a virtual team and setting priorities to meet customer needs is also required.
Why Securecom
- Join a collaborative, encouraging, and high-performing team.
- Work with a varied group of customers across New Zealand.
- Have the chance to lead, influence, and create meaningful impact.
- Be part of a company that values its people, culture, and customer relationships.
- Enjoy flexibility and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
